Accounting is an important part of every business. Thus, every student with an economic degree must understand, apply, and make decisions based on the accounting information, because they will be part of the economic environment and accounting is an important part of it. Moreover, students must understand the concepts of assets, liabilities, and equity, which form the basic accounting equation and fundament the entire accounting system.

Students will be able to:

• Gather, process, and analyze information about the external environment – firm/organization interaction;
• Assist for managing the entire firm/organization;
• Manage the activity of a subdivision within the structure of the firm/organization;
• Apply principles, regulations, and professional ethics values within own personal strategy of rigorous, efficient, and responsible work.
